Sail Philadelphia!
See historic Philadelphia a whole new way aboard the schooner Summer Wind. We sail every day (unless it rains!) on the Philadelphia waterfront. Our tours are always fun for young and old. Come sail the Delaware River with us and enjoy a day on the water!
You can find us at Pier 24 at the Philadelphia Marine Center on Columbus Boulevard, just north of the Ben Franklin Bridge. Pier 24 is a parking lot between Dave & Busters and Cavanaugh's River Deck. You can't miss us!
You can even charter the Summer Wind for your own private event. Email or call us to make a request for your special occasion!

History Sail
Learn about the Delaware Rivers contribution to the growth of America's first city. From Swedish settlers of the early 17th century to William Penn's city of neighborhoods, from the American revolution to the industrial revolution, from a shipbuilding center to a major modern shipping port, the Delaware River has long been the lifeblood of Philadelphia. Sail back in time with us and learn about the people, ships and commerce that built Philadelphia and America.

Tropical Sail
If the island life is a state of mind, then this is the destination for your imagination. You might not see Jimmy Buffett in a hammock under our palm tree, but you'll come close! We play a great variety of tropical beach music with our own jambalaya mixture of Caribbean, Cajun, Reggae, New Orleans and Memphis music, with plenty of Florida and California sunshine thrown in. We always have a good time and so will you!

Sunset Sail
Enjoy the romantic sounds of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett and others at the end of a warm summer day. We'll introduce you to some new favorites, as well. The sun sinks below the city and the skyline lights up just for you. Bring your favorite bottle of wine, snuggle up with someone you love and let the day melt away. The stars mix with the lights of the city and the Summer Wind sails on...

Don't forget to wear your grass skirt and your own Hawaiian shirt! Welcome aboard!

Chesapeake Charter
It's a week you'll never forget! We'll take three couples to the Chesapeake Bay for some of the best sailing on the east coast. We'll sail to a different port each day and you'll stay in a different Bed & Breakfast each night. You'll get to explore small towns and big cities, fresh food and fresh sea breezes. Talk to your friends about a great group vacation you can all share together!
Day 1: We'll depart early Sunday morning, cruise through the Chesapeake & Delaware canal and sail for Havre de Grace in the northern end of the Chesapeake Bay.
Day 2: Chestertown is our destination. We'll sail down the Bay, pass the Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge and meander up the Chester River for the night.
Day 3: It's back to the western shore of the Bay and our stop in Baltimore. We'll sail right into Baltimore's Inner Harbor for a night in the city.
Day 4: Now it's time for some peace and quiet. We'll head south down the Bay, under the Bay Bridge and around Kent Island. We'll settle in for the night in a nice, cozy spot on the Island.
Day 5: Farther south around the Island and back to the western shore, we'll make our way to Annapolis, home of the Naval Academy and some great restaurants.
Day 6: It's time to sail north to the upper end of the Chesapeake. We'll visit charming little Chesapeake City at the end of the canal.
Day 7: Across the canal and up the Delaware river, we make our way back to Philadelphia and home again.
