May 11th will be opening day for the 2013 sailing season! We're busy doing work on the hull and the rigging and the Summer Wind will be back in the water very soon. Tickets for the first half of the season are available already so you can book early.

We're now sailing from the Independence Seaport Museum at Penn's Landing, just a few blocks from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. See all the famous Philadelphia landmarks from the Delaware River, including Adventure Aquarium, the Battleship New Jersey, the U.S.S. Olympia, the Ben Franklin Bridge, the Moshulu, and Campbell's Field, home of the Camden Riversharks. The schooner Summer Wind will return to Philadelphia for another fun sailing season and we hope you'll join us! It's gonna be a great Summer!

Cruise with us on the Delaware River near Penn's Landing for a beautiful and relaxing experience. This is one of the most unique attractions in Philadelphia. It's a great thing to do on a Summer afternoon and also makes a great date night! We're ready for another great season and we can't wait for you to join us on Philadelphia's Small Tall Ship.

All of our public sails are 90 minutes. We start our day with the History Sail, all about the maritime history of Philadelphia. In the afternoons we do our Tropical Sails, complete with Hawaiian shirts and Jimmy Buffett-inspired beach music. In the evenings we do our romantic Sunset Sail with music from Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and many others. This season we're expanding the schedule for more of the popular Wine & Cheese Sails. Just bring your favorite bottle of wine and we'll take care of everything else. We finish off the night with our late-night Moonlight Sail under the stars. The Summer Wind is limited to 6 passengers, so it's always comfortable and intimate. So join us for one of the best attractions in Philly and have fun sailing!
